ISO 9002 - Certified enterprise Biosecurity

The use of semen doses coming from a recognized and accredited insemination center assures the breeder that the sanitary quality of the product is rigorously controlled and very safe.

The CIPQ Inc. meets the federal standards of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIC) in accordance with the law and rules on animal health (L.C.66) and adheres volontarily to the "Canadian Sanitary Food Management Agency (CSFMA)" controlled by the Quebec Pork Development Center (QPDC) Inc.

Moreover, our health committee, composed of specialists in porcine veterinary medicine, has established a strict sanitary policy which exceeds the standards of accreditation, in order to guarantee the innocuousness of the semen.

The distribution of our livestock on three (3) geographically separate sites constitutes an additional guarantee of safe supply. The location of the centers has also been worthy of special attention, seeing that no other pig breeding can be found within a radius of 2,5 km from each site.
