This program type BLUP analyzes the measured performances on pigs and, taking into consideration all available information on related animals, calculates the potential genetic indexes (IPG) which estimate the performances of their offspring. The monthly updating allows the actualization of these indexes with the added information obtained by the evaluation of performances of the descendants and other related animals.

This synthetic boar combines the quality of the Duroc meat (which accounts for 50% of its genes) and the yield in meat of MUSCLOR, a composite descendant based on Pietrain and Large-White. This boar is exempt from halothane genes and RN.

The use of these potentially high genetic subjects means, for the stock breeder, a better quality of carcass and index of conversion, or even a better proliferation of the sows, according to select criteria.
